Aw this is so cool! And thanks so much for the dedication! There is not enough Frank art out there and seeing people do some always brightens my day! So awesome and again thanks!
You rock...Zappa was an F'n genius and it broke my heart that he died at the age he did and they way he died...we lost a great mind and an awesome talent! Beautiful piece! Only someone so sweet they don't have to add sugar to their coffee could have done this!

Yeah, it was a sad day when he died. When I first heard he had cancer, I heard it from an aquaintance of mine. I had a meeting with her in San Francisco one morning in November of '91 at 8am, and she finally bustled into her office at around 9am.
She said she had recieved a call from a friend that morning, and he had told her he had prostate cancer. As she was hanging up her coat, she turned around to look at me and said offhandedly, "Oh, you probably know him. Frank Zappa?" I had to admit I didn't know him. I just knew OF him.
When our meeting was done, I ran home as fast as I could to tell my husband to keep an eye on the news, that Frank Zappa had cancer... but it didn't actually come out on the news for a long time. I had begun to believe that maybe the chick had just made up a huge story to explain away being late that morning, and then I heard it on the radio, not too long before he died in '93.
I'm glad he lives on in his recordings. For me, it's hard not to love somebody that was so devoted to eccentricity.

Very cool! It took me a second to see it's a face, it looks just like 60's art. I ate an apple with Frank Zappa at the shrine exposition hall back in the 70's.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
